  The Rolls Traveler Razor
Posted by: Jayaruh - 04-27-2020, 03:59 PM - Forum: Other SE brands. - Replies (1)

I received this Rolls Traveler set on February 14, 2018. It is complete with instructions, case, and an extra unused blade. The blade that was used is in bad shape, but I am happy that the unused blade was in great shape. The hone and the strop sides are both in good shape, too. The Rolls is basically a straight on a stick. This is a razor that I believe I will be able to use one day.

The date on the blade is 1953.

Tongue Mobile version

I use my phone for the majority of forum use. So, for me, a mobile version is essential as it's very difficult to navigate the web version.

  Show Off Your TNNSER Here
Posted by: Jayaruh - 04-27-2020, 03:15 AM - Forum: 3D printed razors - Replies (16)

I must admit, I have my fair share of TNNSER razors, including the original. Made by Tom White, the original is made from aluminum with a roller safety bar. I had five of my own at one time. I am down to the original, my first 3d printed one, and the green TNNSER. I felt guilty for having so many, so I spread the love.

Since then, the razor was redesigned as a 3D printed razor. I had four of them. The first one (bottom of picture) is ABS that I had printed locally. Then I had the next black one printed locally from ASA; the same for the green one. They were done locally for a group buy. The top one is transparent resin. It was printed in the UK.

My fourth, the Transparent TNNSER. I adopted this one out, too.

Thumbs Up The shovelhead!!!
Posted by: Ordinaryshaver - 04-26-2020, 10:52 PM - Forum: Shave Talk - Replies (12)

The Ever Ready Shovel head is Wchnu favorite razor.
He may deny it, but deep down it's really true.
Here are a few reasons why.
1. It's old, just like him
2. It's simple and easy to figure out.
3. It is effortless to get a super close shave.
4. Super aggressive and has lots of chatter
5. It has a flip open too, and a simple friction lock

There, I said it, it is not only his favorite razor, but mine as well

  Easy on the eyes theme?
Posted by: ShadowsDad - 04-26-2020, 08:50 PM - Forum: The Front Porch - Replies (4)

A month ago there was a "dark mode" or I seem to remember one. It had white text on a black background. I don't know how to get it back, but I liked it alot. Does it still exist? If so I cant find it. Help!

Thanks!

Modify Your Gem Blade for AutoStrops
Posted by: Jayaruh - 04-26-2020, 08:14 PM - Forum: Blade Modifying - Replies (1)

This was my first blade modification for my AutoStrop B1. I separated the spine from the Gem blade. Then I broke off the center protrusions. Then the blade slid nicely into the blade holder.
