Yes it is supposed to have the bar, you can see the spring for it.

		How does the front of a '12 compare? As in replacing the forward section with the front of an old '12. That gives you a good guard and good stops.

I finally managed to snag an AutoStrop A2!  I also have a B2 and VC1 - 4.
