I have been using yellow package Schick injector blades made in China aka "sChicks" in my vintage Schick injectors for a couple months I've been getting awesome shaves with them . I'm curious about the other brands. I know about Personna ,and supply .Is it true that supply plastic injector wont work with vintage Schick razors ? Is there any other manufacturers I'm missing out on . Thanks

I've been on the Hunt to get my next gem razor. I have a featherweight and a 1912 .I would like something on the more aggressive side . Would that be the Micromatic open comb?
Mild to Aggressive : Contour 2, Contour 1 , Push button ,G bar , Feather weight, MM Bullet tip, Gem JR, 1912, Damaskeene , MM CP ,Damaskeene OC, MM OC. Is this ordering correct ?

Hi, thank you for approving my membership. About 3 or 4 months ago I started collecting and shaving with vintage unmentionables after a bad new one .I was looking up info on my new to me 1961 one on and found a YouTube video from Shaving With Fuzzy. After that video, his SE shave's starting popping up as suggestions and tost3 channel ,and other members here YouTube channels . Well I figured I would give SE Razors a try and picked up 2 Schick injectors ( I2,E2 ) from my local antique store and ordered some blades I got awesome shaves with them .Well its snowballed into gem's, Eveready's ,and Valet's .I have looked here many times for times as a guest for info about razors ,I though it was time to sign up .

For quite some time now I've had a computer that was limping along. It started the downward spiral that I didn't notice but got so bad that I couldn't even do a speed test. One day it worked better and a speed test showed me 177kbps. It's supposed to be 200+mbps. Between Spectrum and myself we got it up to 2+mbps; still not right but I could do more online. What suffered in the meanwhile was opening emails and such. The tech' just got done fixing things and I now have 400+mbps. A small difference from 177kbps. The problem was a splitter that wasn't necessary as a connector between the incoming line and the line going to the modem. I've never had much over 200mbps and that was fast enough. The computer is at mach 6 now.

I don't know if the rest of the country is like Maine, but if you go into a Mom and Pop store you're likely to find a gallon jar of pickled eggs on the counter. Recipes vary but what follows is my version.
Pickled Eggs
3 dozen large eggs
6 cups White Vinegar
2 cups water
2 medium to large onions, coarse chopped
5 cloves garlic, coarse chopped
1 gallon jar
Optional:
1 Beet for color
4 Ripe Scotch Bonnet Peppers, coarse chopped
2 generously rounded TBL crushed red pepper
Add ½ of the liquid and all coarse chopped flavorings to jar. Hardboil eggs, then shell them and add the eggs to the jar. The eggs should all easily fit in the jar and be covered by liquid. If desired a skinned, sliced beet can be added for color, the pickling juice should be much darker than the desired egg color when you remove the beet slices. If the beet is small enough removal of the beet may be unnecessary. Allow to sit at room temperature for 2-3 weeks for the pickle to fully absorb. Shelf life should be a few months, but they won’t last that long. I’ve kept them refrigerated for years and they make the very best egg salad when they get super pickled.
Add salt and pepper as desired when eaten, a good hot sauce is also good on them if the hot peppers aren’t added to the jar. I think they make the best egg salad.
4 dozen of our eggs makes two ½ gallon jars with a few left over.
Note: I now use 5 parts vinegar to 1 part water. I also don’t add any heat to the pickle. Instead I just use hot sauce for every bite. That way those folks who don’t like heat don’t need to have it.
