One nice artisan is Savon Mystere Artisan Soapery.

It's been more then a few minutes since I used this razor. It was in a box that was packed down.  That's really a shame because these things shave great! I see there is an adapter being made but it appears to be sold out right now. I just noticed this video has what is a lot of views for my channel.  Guess the Enders gets attention.

I have never really had exposure to boar brushes but would like to get 1 or 2 to give them a try.  I have looked at various vendors and other online sites.  I realize they are nothing like badger/synthetics and have a break in period.   There is a plethora of brushes available for sure. 

But where do I even start?  Omega? Semouge? Jaguar? Mondial?  Confused for sure.

Any tips/info would be greatly appreciated.

I was here a couple of years ago but the then the wife got sick and I cared for her for 2 years before.......  Then I got sick and it slowed me down a lot.  BUT  am much better now so here I am again.  Have been active on another forum but decided to revisit my SE's and glad too.  Using my Contour II this week and it's great.   Anyway, here I am.  Hope it's ok

I got a new soap a while back and noticed that it said Shaving Bar on it. Dove Men+Care Hand, Body, and Shave Bar. I had intended to try it out sometime. Yesterday, my son, David, came up to have early Fathers Day celebration. He brought me  a shaving bowl that he printed on his new 3D printer. It is one that was designed by Roger Quintero. I decided it was a good time to try out the bar soap. Here is the video.



Today, I used the soap in my Saturday shave. It did OK, but it will not be in my rotation. It would do as a travel bar you could use to shower and shave with. So, now I know. The bowl is cool, but it will end up as a container to hold shave stuff.
