Yet another razor
#1
This razor has been 4 years in the making.

It all started a few months after I created the Bunny. It was making the rounds and I was gathering all the input. I then tried to incorporate the main things people were looking for in an Injector. What I came up with was this. The most compact head design as possible. What it ended up as was this. Mind you it is not an Injector, as you have to load the blade by hand.

This has sat around ever since. I came to the conclusion that what I had designed was a disposable razor design. Taking in all of the feedback and just working from there. It naturally morphed into this. The one thing that I never really liked was how it held the blade. I was relying on friction. I put it away and moved on. Then several months ago I got the design big big time. I went on a tear and did 3 unmentionable razors. Anyhow with all of the feedback a member across the street suggested using magnets as springs. Very cool idea I think. Anyhow while I was looking through my files. I came across this again.  It dawned on me that I could use smaller magnets to secure the cap and blade. I also realized that it would be a perfect printable razor. So here you have it. I need to get the magnets still. Everything fits dandy. [Image: 43579523-35-CE-458-C-8025-782-A3360-D77-D.jpg]

This looks like it will be an easy, smooth shaver. I look forward to seeing how the magnets will secure the cap and blade. Great job, Tom!

Very cool. I look forward to hearing how things go with the magnets. The Toms Magnetic Marvel perhaps.

I'm following this. It should work great with the Schick Proline 20s.

Yikes is this razor efficient aggressive. I really should have stopped at 2 passes. I am BBS but payed with 2 weepers. These blades are insanely sharp. I did have a bit of feedback with my Aluminum block. Not as much as I was expecting though. Interested ordered the magnets today. It stayed together fine Without them. Very maneuverable razor.

I will do a pass around once I get it all squared away. Break in the new forum with some newfangled shaving stick. I hope you will set aside your disdain for new razors long enough to bleed for the team.
Wink
