On November 22, I did a search on eBay for a Wilkinson Sword razor and found this one. It is one I have never had, but wanted. It was a buy it now, and so I did. Coming from the UK, it is now located just down the road in South Cackalacky. I am hoping to see it one day this week. It has some blades with it that I will be sending to twhite to make shave ready.

The image doesn't work, Jim.
As I'm on the lookout for an Empire Set, I'd love to see if I missed it or let it go...

See if that is working.

Working just fine.
Not the model I'm after...

I don't know that much about them. Can you tell me more or point me somewhere? I am not sure what year this one is.

The Empire was sold from 1930 to 1953.
The patent is here: https://razors.page/patents/GB321115/
I'm not an expert and can't narrow it down.
I ended up with three (by-catch or dirt cheap at a car boot sale), but not a single salvageable blade.
I'm looking for a 7-day set or just a bunch of decent blades.
Not urgently. On my watch list for years... one day... It needs to be cheap... but with perfect blades...
I can wait...

Very nice Jim. Looks like everything is in good shape and should clean up nicely.

I have that set too, Jim. I have modified a Gem blade to use on mine.

I hope you get your seven day set. At least you are in the right country. HA! Looks like mine will arrive tomorrow. I can hardly wait.

Thanks, I hope so. The clean up process is one I look forward to.
