Thanks. It's something they would have done back then, if they could. After all, nickled handguns with pearl grips were popular.

I think I got this confused with the RARE Star open comb razor Fuzzy Wchnu has perhaps ?Something he said he only ever saw his and never seen another.......clearly not this razor then.

I finally have a Jayaruh brush. I've admired his work for quite some time now. Especially the Rubberset 400 style handles. This beauty is a beast too with a 30mm knot. The JR 433 handle is Patagonian Rosewood and shaped and sized perfectly. The synthetic knot is pretty good for a synthetic but that may eventually get switched out for a boar. Hope that's OK Jayaruh.
