I bought the razor sans handle and have been using a cheap ebay handle on it. I think this will be stunning. I've never put pearl grips on any of my guns, but I have used ivory and stag.
WOW that is absolutely stunning. I have never seen a pearl handle on lather catcher before .

Thanks. It's something they would have done back then, if they could. After all, nickled handguns with pearl grips were popular.

Yessss indeed. I will dig mine up. I think twhite had a stockpile of those at onetime.
I was on a tear and found 8 total over a year span. Found new homes for all but 1.

I think I got this confused with the RARE Star open comb razor Fuzzy Wchnu has perhaps ?Something he said he only ever saw his and never seen another.......clearly not this razor then.

I finally have a Jayaruh brush. I've admired his work for quite some time now. Especially the Rubberset 400 style handles. This beauty is a beast too with a 30mm knot. The JR 433 handle is Patagonian Rosewood and shaped and sized perfectly. The synthetic knot is pretty good for a synthetic but that may eventually get switched out for a boar. Hope that's OK Jayaruh.
Here is a picture from today's shave with it.
