Cool brush. I've worked with that type of material if it's the Tru-stone turquoise. Not easy to work with but so worth it for the end results.

How do you like the Oumo knot. Is it the Gel tip? I've been curious about them and considered getting one.

I have an Oumo Boar that is the best boar I've ever had. This Badger is just as amazing. Not the gel tip. My ONLY issue with the knot is it's TOO big for me to grab as often as I wold ifit was smaller. I think it's a 26mm but I swear it feels like a 30mm. No shedding, soft feel and dense pack on the knot giving it good backbone without being to stiff. I just can't remember which it was as there are so many varieties.

Saturday's Shave
[Image: zcws.jpg]

Cold Water Rinse
Strop Shoppe Unscented Shave Soap
Jayaruh 287 Synthetic
Stoll Jr. Lather Catcher
Personna GEM SS PTFE
CWR
Aqua Velva Musk AS

Day 27 of 3D Printed Razor Month

The Strop Shoppe Unscented Shave Soap lathered well with the Jayaruh 287 Synthetic Brush. Two passes and touch ups with the Stoll Jr. Lather Catcher Razor with a Personna GEM SS PTFE Blade gave me a close, comfortable shave. After a cold water rinse I finished off with Aqua Velva Musk AS. I am clean, smooth, and refreshed...

Thanks Dave I will definitely consider the Oumo knots known. I am making 2 horn handles right now and it just doesn't seem right to set a synthetic knot in a horn handle to me. So I've been trying to figure out what to use in them.
To big a brush?? I love my Maggards 28mm SHD. I did set it quite low to keep it as dense as possible though. It has pretty much the same bloom diameter as my Maggards 26mm standard density at a more standard loft.
I just set a 26mm mixed Badger Boar the other day and look forward to trying it soon.
I'm sure I've seen a picture of the Copper "Fluffy" industries handle but could you post another picture please and save me the searching.
BTW if either of you have any brushes that are truly to big for you to use let me know if you need to find them a new home. Big Grin Tongue
