I've already received a stay of execution but just barely, with a threatened life sentence from the "Warden". As you can all imagine, she said..."How many razors do you need?" And..."There can't be any difference using different razors, the blade is the same." I'm going to need a good barracks lawyer to get me out of this one. 

I have had that conversation many times with She Who Must Be Obeyed(SWMBO for short)!!!!

Since you didn't offer up any good advice on dealing with SWMBO, mlb 549, I guess this is just business as usual with this hobby of ours?! Dave in KY mentioned to me that he sells off some of his stash to balance the inbound/outbound and keep his missus "happy"! (my words and not his) Of course, this technique doesn't work for a FNG like myself!

Arriving yesterday, this is the first time I won a bid on the Bay. Winning bid just under $24, total with shipping and tax ~$34.

It's really minty, with only a bit of plate loss on two spots on the thickest portion of the bullet tip. If you look close you can see it in the first photo...and the other spot on the exact opposite side which leads me to believe it may have just rubbed off over the years rubbing in the case. Only one small blemish on the cap, otherwise looks like it was not shaved with much if at all. I really like the cardboard blade insert with instructions to use the guiding eye!

I know to some this would be a collection piece, but unless anyone can convince me otherwise...I intend on shaving with it.

That's a beauty. It is my birth era razor. Introduced in 1947, my birth year.

Nice find!  I shave will all my razors.  Just treat her like a lady!  Put her away clean and dry.

Beautiful. My BT has the guiding eye but is not in nearly that good of condition. I also shave with all of my razors. I wouldn't buy one if I didn't plan on shaving with it at least occasionally.
