Put a dog down today.

We've had to do it far too often and it never gets any easier. But it's what we thought was best for her. She was having problems walking and had to be in pain but she never cried out. She was the longest lived dog we've ever had. She had a good life and brought joy into ours for 13 years.

So sorry to here that ShadowsDad. It really must be a hard choice, it was in her best interests and she is in no pain now.

Our sweet Shana was with us for 14 years. I knew when it was time too. She was the best dog we ever had and keeping her around because we wanted to wasn't fair to her knowing she was hurting. It NEVER gets easier. SOOO sorry for your loss ShadowsDad

Thanks guys.

We had plenty of time to come to grips with it, we'd been discussing it for at least a week and I would tell the wife, that we'll recognize when it's time. But the wife took it hard all the same. I was the dogs master and she would sleep next to me (on the floor), but the dog was the wifes mostly.

Shadow is taking it pretty hard today, last night too. It's obvious that he misses her, he just can't tell us how he's feeling.

I'm in pain and don't walk too well sometimes, I'm worried now.
Boar brushes, brass razors, and hard pucks ARE traditional wet shaving. Everything else is modern day fluff for the girly men.

Gee, thanks, just remember, my shaving stuff is rigged with high explosives.

By the way, how explosive do explosives have to be to be considered "high" explosives?
