Queen cutlery and tactical knives

Any knife collectors here? If so anyone experienced a queen cutlery knife made in the Daniels family era? I just bought my fourth. Picked up one of the qtac knives. You can tell it is a handmade production knife. There are little asymmetries if you look closely. The handle was beveled free hand as well as blade sharpening and shaping. Good steel ats34 equivalent to 154cm. This was their first attempt at a tactical knife and they got more right than wrong. Clip screws should have been low profile. As it they stop the pocket from going deep as it should. So I'm gunna change them. But despite it's flaws I love the knife.

I admit I don't know squat about collecting knives, but that's a nice a little knife. The few knives I have are all designed around dressing game or fileting fish if they aren't found in my kitchen. That knife would look at home dressing out small game or many other uses a pocket knife would be carried for.

Yeah I bought this one seeing it as more tactical style. It's hard to even find pictures of this knife online. I don't believe many were made or sold. I didn't think it had a pocket clip. So I had purposely got the small to carry in the watch pocket but it's a little big for it. This is actually the small version. There are two larger sizes. One is the same just bigger the other is based on another lockback queen used to make. It's sad that queen is no longer made in the schatt and Morgan factory in Titusville. The brand went silent for like a year then smokey mountain knife works bought it. They had since made some in America and china using the name.

Like most knife collectors really none lol. Like I said I got it to collect an use for utility. Those who talk about knife capabilities are typically armchair enthusiast.

I think the word "tactical" is overused today. Just for kicks I googled tactical underwear and got hits. Today everything can have the word applied to it making the word completely without meaning.
