Looks great. Is the strop part some kind of rubber on those?

I think it's a leather strip attached to the roller but not certain.

I've seen a lot of Schick magazine razors in pictures and always thought they were quite interesting so I bought this one. Now I have seen one in the flesh WOW, what a great little machine! I don't know how it shaves yet but I love it anyway.

Picked up few NOS blister packs of these Schick blades to put in it, I hope they work OK too.

Cool, I have yet to try one o know the differences. Always been slow to buy as I don't know how the mechanics of them work. I wouldn't know if it was working. Congrats

Yeah, same here, its hard to know from ebay if it's working properly. I was lucky, this one has the magazine inside with 4 vintage blades. It works really smoothly, you can push the 4 blades through in seconds. There is a short video on YouTube by Jayaruh that shows how they work, good work Jim. I think these later ones have a simpler/better mechanism, but I'm no expert.

I need to break out my Schick B. Those shave great. Mine will not load blades so I do it by hand.  Great find!!

I will keep a lookout for that video. I guess its nice to have the mechanism working but certainly not necessary.

If you find a good price on a Shcick Awith a good head I wouldn't worry about the mechanism.
