It depends upon which type of unmentionable you mean. The ones that start with a D? Must have been years. The folding type from Solingen or Eskilstuna? I still enjoy using them on weekends. Just to preserve the muscle memory.

Otherwise, SEs all the way.

Which reminds me that it's been pretty much exactly eight years since my first SE shave (29 March 2013, i.e., 7 years, 11 months, 20 days ago).

I did a week of adjustables this month, so March 10 was the last time I used an unmentionable. On average, they get used about 15% of the time. I use all kinds.

I completely understand and support a forum that is focused on a certain kind of Razor but I sure don't understand the contempt for other razors. is there a post somewhere that explains the thought behind this forum and why we are so against other razors. Would help to read the reason for hating them so.....

A few Hours ago, I have over 60 razors, vintage and modern of all types, they all get used, some more than others.
I enjoy a bit of variety.

It's a Fuzzy thing. I have made the mistake of posting unmentionables a couple of times. It was all innocent, but the bricks started flying. I haven't seen any bricks for a while now.

NO, I get it and won't post them here. Put it this way. I have this saying I've never seen 2 wheels I didn't like. Meaning I've had all kinds of motorcycles and appreciate something about any bike. Some guys if it ain't a Harley it ain't a bike, it's garbage. They talk about American made until I show them all the made in China stamps on their Harley and all the Made in USA stamped on my Valkyrie engine block, frame etc. Made in Ohio. I understand a forum devoted to ONLY SE razors. I just don't find the post explaining why everything else is junk or the reason for the hating others. I like all razors. NOT trying to start anything at all, just trying to understand the hatred for anything but SE ?
