6-7-67: On this date in 1967, I entered the U.S. Army as a Private Recruit. I did three years, and I am glad to have done it.

The Proraso Sandalwood Shave Soap face-lathered well with my Jayaruh #340 Badger Brush. Two passes and touch ups with the Ever-Ready Lather Catcher with a GEM Blue Star SE blade gave me a close, comfortable shave. After a cold water rinse I finished off with Cella ASB. I am clean, smooth, and refreshed...

Tonight's shave was very enjoyable. I loaded a 5th use Gem SS PTFE and lathered up the Mer Shavings Barbershop with a synthetic brush. Everything lined up for a very close very comfortable shave.

Another flawless performance from the Clog Pruf. Viva is a lovely summer scent that reminds me of a day at the beach without smelling like sunscreen. All around relaxing shave.
