Very glad to have you amongst us, Mike.  Your mention of unmentionables (Fuzzy was here) gave me cold chills!!  My pitiful attempt with  unmentionable (fuzzy was here) shaving resulted in which about 4 stitches was a pretty good shave!!  I have since realized I wasn't going to get any better and will never venture down that road again.  I hope you enjoy our group and post every chance you get---that's how we all learn and share together.

Thanks very much for the welcome mlb.  I imagine unmentionables (fuzzy was here) are daunting for pretty much everyone at first, but not everyone has 4 stitches worth of beginner's luck - by which I mean a heaping dose of bad luck unfortunately!  I'm sorry for you.  No such misfortune for me, although I still have a lot to learn, and I still make bloodletting mistakes.  FWIW "slow and steady" is my strategy - keep shaving/keep learning.  Let's hope it's not a foolish strategy.  

In any case, thanks again for helping me to feel at home here.

Evening Fuzzy, I have still been popping in although posts have been few and far between, been using some Pass-around Unmentionables and some other new stuff.
Things will settle soon then I should have a healthy rotation across all types of razors.
Still love my vintage stuff.
