Modern Personna injector blades in their dismal plastic magazine?
Not the worst blades ever, but I will never buy them again (I still have 170 or so left)

Boar brushes, brass razors, and hard pucks ARE traditional wet shaving. Everything else is modern day fluff for the girly men.

Those are pretty much the best modern injector blades you can buy. Modern Japanese Schick blades are just as good (single) or even better (twin), but not worth the money. (eye-watering) Vintage blades are a different story, but you have to know what to buy. They stopped making Personna 74's for a reason (they last forever). Don't get me wrong. Modern Personna blades are OK, but the plastic magazines are so flimsy that injecting a blade can be a challenge. I've had more than one magazine fall apart while injecting. The metal top comes apart from the plastic bottom. You can then transfer the blades to a proper metal magazine, but why? I'll start using them again when I run out of the modern Schick blades (see above) and all my vintage blades. That would be in the early 2030s if I don't use any non-injector razors with my 250-ish GEM blades or the occasional unmentionable which I won't mention because they are unmentionable (none so far in 2020 and I also have hundreds of blades for those). I will never have to buy a blade ever again. Unless I spot some Personna 74s for peanuts (that was so cool). Or maybe some vintage Schick twin blades. No. Stop it.

I prefer the Proline B20s in razors that thay fit securely in. I haven't been super impressed with the Chicks but they are also not bad. I just ordered some of the Personna blades to give them a try.

Looking good. I actually get good use out of those blades.
Happy shaves to ya!
