Big big big sale came through today for me, and it looks like it is going to make my whole month. I should even be able to make a bit of a bonus this month. That's always helpful.
Also, the little gal got a great report from the Dr, so we went to celebrate. I had a nice 8 oz sirloin cooked medium rare, with fries and a nice salad.

I am doing new hire paperwork and such today. The port security job came through. I have to do a gun class tomorrow since it is an armed post. At least they do not issue Glocks!!!

I am glad to hear that the job search went well! What do you have against Glocks? Apart from them being made of polymer they have a good track record. Anyways glad to hear it worked out.

I do not like anything about a Glock. Ugly and feel bad in my hands for some reason. I have been that way for years.

Well so much for that. I just got a call.... the port people backed out. I can still hire on for the company but at a lower rate. Not sure whats up there. Oh well damn the torpedos..etc.

I can see that. You are not the only person with those same complaints. However it does work. Better options are out there.

Praying that it goes well for you.

Yeah, Glocks just feel like a 2x4 to me. But the latest version felt pretty good. But still had the wrong grip angle. Too many years with a 1911 and such for me but it's easy to find the right grip angle.

The post is a good one. The pay is not so much. I have no issues starting and working up. I will work this one and get all I can out of it until something better pops up. I am a little put out by the chain of events but that is just how it goes sometimes.
