Lather Catcher Sunday's Cold Water Shave

Cold Water Rinse
Van Der Hagen Luxury Shave Soap
Jayaruh #446 Boar/Badger
Ever-Ready Lather Catcher
Ever-Ready Radio Steel
CWR
Vintage English Leather AS

The Van Der Hagen Luxury Shave Soap lathered well with the Jayaruh #446 Boar/Badger Brush. Two passes and touch ups with the Ever-Ready Lather Catcher Razor and the 100+ year old Ever-Ready Radio Steel blade gave me a close, comfortable shave. After a cold water rinse I finished off with Vintage English Leather After Shave. I am clean, smooth, and refreshed...

That looks like a nice old blade you have there. Can I ask how you prepped it to get a close shave? I tend to get hit and miss results in my Den. Thanks!

That is a great little video. I like the use of the diamond sheet combined with the Strand. I have a different type of sharpener but I have been using the synthetic stone it comes with. I am going to try it out with a diamond sheet. Not sure I have .9, but I have .5 I think. Thanks for the post. I will see if an upgrade will get me more reliable edges. Thanks!
