The Colgate Shaving Mug Soap lathered well with the Jayaruh #395 Badger brush. Two passes and touch ups with the J.A. Henckels Rapide razor and J.A. Henckels Wedge Blade gave me a close, comfortable shave. After a cold water rinse I finished off with Dickinson's Witch Hazel and then Granddad's Blend AS. I am clean, smooth, and refreshed...

Sunday Morning Sensational Scrape

Paired an Un-modified VC4 with a Feather FSH-10 blade for a spectacular shave.  I've seen and read so much bad press for these Feather blades.  Balderdash.  Very smooth & efficient in this VC4.

Manic Monday Morning Mash Up

Tried a PAL Carbon blade in the VB1 and it was a very good shave.  It is a different feel from the PTFE blades especially the first pass or so, but the end result is usually always a great shave.

Monday's Quick One-Pass Cold Water Shave

Cold Water Rinse
Purple Power Creme Hand Cleaner
Gem Flying Wing
Personna GEM SS PTFE

Today's shave was inspired by my friend Mike F. He suggested that two hand cleaners made for a quick clean shave if you are in a hurry. The hand cleaners are Goop and Purple Power.  I found a tub of Purple Power at Walmart for $2.47. Here is today's shave.

After a cold water rince, the Purple Power Creme Hand Cleaner went on well without a brush. One quick pass and touch ups with the Gem Flying Wing and Personna GEM SS PTFE Blade gave me a close, comfortable shave. Pretty good for one pass.  After a cold water rinse I finished off with Dickinson's Witch Hazel and then Lilac Vegetal. I am clean, smooth, and refreshed...
