Lather Catcher Sunday's Shave
[Image: zcws.jpg]

Cold Water Rinse
Archaic Alchemy Eureka Shave Soap
Jayaruh #425 Synthetic
Superior Lather Catcher
Personna GEM SS PTFE
CWR
Aqua Velva Sensitive 5 in 1 AS Balm

The Archaic Alchemy Eureka Shave Soap lathered well with the Jayaruh #425 Synthetic Brush. Two passes and touch ups with the Superior Lather Catcher Razor with a Personna GEM SS PTFE Blade gave me a close, comfortable shave. After a cold water rinse I finished off with Aqua Velva Sensitive 5 in 1 AS Balm. I am clean, smooth, and refreshed...

It's fairly rare for me to use a unmentionable lately. It's also rare for me to use the same razor two days in a row. I wanted to try this particular razor with a different blade after how mild it felt yesterday with the particular unmentionable blade. The Russian unmentionable blade I used today was more efficient but still felt very mild with the dial set to 9. The final finish feels near BBS with very little sting from the Aqua Velva aftershave. I also figured today was a perfect day to wear a Russian made Vostok Amphibia since I used a Russian blade.
I actually think I will use this razor again tomorrow with a particular blade known for being extra sharp if I can dig one up.

I wish i had tried a guarded blade before now, these are really taming the Unmentionable SE razors.
I do have a little irritation on the left side of my chin/jaw which is down to me.
Overall a very nice shave.

This is the 3rd day in a row with the same unmentionable. This time with the sharpest blade I know of. I could definitely feel the blade this time dial set to 9 still . Although it is a really sharp blade it stated out exceptionally smooth. Well until I got to the trouble spots on my neck. There it was a bit harsh and I had difficulty picking up the most stubborn hairs. So I think a mid range blade would be best overall in this razor. If I dial it down next time with a the same blade used today it could make a difference but then it seems to just take more passes on the stubborn hairs. The Oumo Boar knot whipped up a wonderful lather with the Cella. There was a definite strong sting from the Pinaud Clubman.
Today's watch is the Casio G-Shock DW-5600E.
