Glad you like it. And I'm glad we talked about what was needed to get it working for you. It's not like those new fangled Micromatics with there fancy TTO knobs. Big Grin Big Grin

Saturday's Shave
[Image: zcws.jpg]

Cold Water Rinse
Archaic Alchemy Eureka Shave Soap
Jayaruh #425 Synthetic
Schick J
Chinese Schick Injector
CWR
Aqua Velva Sensitive 5 in 1 AS Balm

The Archaic Alchemy Eureka Shave Soap lathered well with the Jayaruh #425 Synthetic Brush. Two passes and touch ups with the Schick J Injector Razor with a Chinese Schick Injector Blade gave me a close, comfortable shave. After a cold water rinse I finished off with Aqua Velva Sensitive 5 in 1 AS Balm. I am clean, smooth, and refreshed...

Let the games begin!

This Razor is really smooth to use, i do believe it is down to the blade holder edge shape, it is rounded and not pointed/flat onto the blade edge.
2 passes and a whirlpool touch up for a very comfortable, BBS finish.

I tiny bit of indication from the splash, its been a while since i used the Floïd, wonderful stuff, very Mediterranean barbershop.

Stay safe and enjoy your day all.

Pre-shave: Van Der Hagen Shave Butter
Lather: Southern Witchcrafts "Carmilla"
Brush: Jayaruh 287
Razor: RazoRock v2 Hawk
Blade: Feather Professional (1)
Post-shave: Omega Alum Stick and Nivea Sensitive Balm

This was my first use of the Hawk and one of a handful of Artist Club razor shaves I've had. The razor is very light but the handle is a nice length and overall it is very comfortable.

This is also my first use of a Southern Witchcrafts soap. It made a fantastic bowl lather and has a pleasant but strong fragrance. It was almost too much for me at first. Fortunately, my wife loved it. She says it's her favorite so far.

I had a typical three-pass shave that ended in an easy, close to perfect BBS. My good fortune with SE razors continues. I get my closest and most comfortable shaves with them.

A rare unmentionable shave for me today. The blade I chose made the razor which is usually quite efficient pretty mild today. It was a bit odd. The Oumo Boar knot is starting to break in. The Novelist is a fantastic scent. I'm going to be sad when this tub is finished.

A bit of an earlier shave today than usual, again taking advantage of a quiet house.
This unmentionable really does need more concentration than its less aggressive brother, it really ups the efficiency. i do believe i am starting to become more comfortable with the handle and was more confident this morning using a much lighter touch today and the razor just wiped away the stubble. i was just about done from 1 pass then did a few touch ups here and there mainly the whirlpools and jawline for a "face feeler" finish, lovely.
No errors to report.
Stay safe and enjoy your day all.
