Put a dog down today.

Sorry to hear how Shadow has handled the loss. I hope the new puppy helps. We recently lost or 16 year old Chihuahua. Luckily our 10 year old Chihuahua is handling it fairly well. I think she understood.

I was wrong, not 4 weeks but 3. Here's the puppy pile, ours in in there somewhere yet to be picked out. 5(?) males and 3 females, we want a female.

OK, Time out! Time to take a break everybody! (According to the owner that's just the way it works out)

That is beautiful puppy pile. I have seen pictures of that breed. Beautiful animals. I bet Shadow will brighten up around a new sister pup!
Happy shaves to ya!

Fingers crossed. The owner says this litter is composed of nothing but pick of the litter. I've got to keep my anxiety under control. I wish it could happen tomorrow, but mom and pop still have much to teach them. It's also up to the proper connections to happen to get the pup up here (Maine).

The new pup. We picked a day ago. She is the biggest female pup of the litter and 2nd biggest dog of the litter, 5.08# last Saturday.
She'll do just fine.

For us she's awfully small, but we're accustomed to 150# dogs and the pups are correspondingly large. We're downsizing.

Congratulations and hoping she fits in well to the family and lifts the spirits especially for the other furry member !

I could have been clearer lest anyone think we have her. We just made our puppy picks. Our pup is still in Florida. Now I need to make connections with a flight nanny service to have her hand carried to Maine in 2 weeks.

Thanks gents!
