My first TCOC posted shave at our new home: the Gem Junior Bar. The handle was done by a friend and is one of my favorites. The soap was Razorock’s Bay Rum. I like the scent and the green color, and it’s performance is more than satisfactory, but it rarely competes with my other Italian faves (Valobra and Saponificio Varesino). The brush (Yaqi Moka Express) is an absolute favorite, both for the beauty and comfort of the handle, and for the exceptional synthetic knot.
So it will surprise no one that this was a superb shave. I did 3 passes and a clean-up....I tried to “over-shave“, but this little Gem refused to make me pay for my enthusiasm. I came out smooth with no blood or irritation. Really love this lather catcher.

Got home really late yesterday so the shave was postponed till today. It was an excellent shave though.
The Henckels Rapide doesn't disappoint. A newly modified unmentionable came out to play also.

Yeah I'm glad I was able to get this one from you. I know there are a few variants and I definitely would like to eventually get one more.
I just wish the head was plated brass. I think these are zamak.

It is Lather Catcher Sunday again. Today, I used my C.V. Heljestrand with a Heljestrand wedge blade. It was an excellent shave. Here is the video.

It is Lather Catcher Sunday
Cold Water Rinse
TSD Iced Lemongrass
Jayaruh #413 Two-band badger
Gem Jr. Bar Lather Catcher
GEM Stainless
CWR
Granddad's Blend AS
The TSD Iced Lemongrass Shave Soap face-lathered well with my Jayaruh #413 Two-band Badger Brush. Two passes and touch ups with the Gem Jr. Bar Lather Catcher with a GEM Stainless blade gave me a close, comfortable shave. After a cold water rinse I finished off with Granddad's Blend AS. I am clean, smooth, and refreshed...

Watching JR video I remember the Andreas 3D print shim.
Maybe a link to the thread is useful.

As well to the file to make it.

As nice as that shim is, it's not by me.
Another useful link I hope: https://razors.click/WedgeBlades/
