Saturday's Shave
Cold Water Rinse
Palmolive Shave Cream
Jayaruh #414 Silvertip Badger
GEM OC Damaskeene
Personna GEM SS PTFE
CWR
Lustray Spice After Shave
The Palmolive Shave Cream lathered well with Jayaruh #414 Silvertip Badger. Two passes and touch ups with the GEM OC Damaskeene with a Personna GEM SS PTFE gave me a close, comfortable shave. After a cold water rinse I finished off with Lustray Spice After Shave. I am clean, smooth, and refreshed...

Cold Water Shave
Pre: Neutrogena Soap Face Wash, Noxzema Cream as Pre Shave
Razor: Ever-Ready 1914 (Little Lather Catcher)
Blade: Gem SS PFTE (9)
Brush: Omega 10049 Pro Boar
Soap: Proraso Green Soap
Post: Osma Alum Block, T.N. Dickinson’s Witch Hazel, Pinaud Clubman Lime Sec, Nivea Sensitive Balm
I want to thank both GAW9576 and TobyC for providing me guidance on adjusting the rear spring on the ER 1914 so that the blade would align correctly. I was good to go today!
Had a very enjoyable 2.5 pass shave. Despite trying to earn some irritation by over-shaving, I got away with it today! As I get better with the easy parts of the shave, I keep trying to improve upon my trouble spots. Added a bit of ATG to my mustache area.
It's too early to tell, but the ER 1914 is giving the Damaskeene a run for its money as my favorite razor.
BTW...if anyone uses witch hazel and lives near a Publix, they have T.N. Dickinson's on sale from $3.99 to $2.99. It has a bit of a strong smell that takes a minute to get used to, but I might prefer it to Thayers for how it makes my skin feel.

Well, you learn something every day! I wasn't aware of Dickinson's extra strength with those additional goodies. Sounds great! I'll have to keep my eye out for it in the wild. Thanks! Thayers ain't so cheap this side of the border either!

Cold Water Shave
Pre: Neutrogena Soap Face Wash, Noxzema Cream as Pre Shave
Razor: Gem Featherweight Deluxe
Blade: Gem SS PFTE (10)
Brush: Simpson Trafalgar T2
Soap: Mike’s Natural Soap - Orange, Cedarwood and Black Pepper

Got back on the Gem Featherweight horse with an enjoyable 2.5 pass shave. Thanks for everyone's feedback on how many shaves y'all get on a SS blade! I've bin'd this one after the tenth shave and will move on to a new Treet blade tomorrow. Now that I've improved my technique, I can give them a more honest assessment. I hope everyone is having a lovely weekend thus far!
