Just to make sure I'm understanding,... You don't know if it was a GEM blade or not, and you used two aftershaves and a fragrance? You're gonna smell like a two dollar cat house!
Boar brushes, brass razors, and hard pucks ARE traditional wet shaving. Everything else is modern day fluff for the girly men.

So I won an Autostrop A in the New years pif and decided to put a little shine on it today which is something I rarely do...just clean after the shave and let dry.  Used just a baking soda paste, a toothbrush, and a bunch of elbow grease.
