I normally dedicate my Sundays to lather catchers. I am making this week a Lather Catcher Week. Today, my Ever-Ready lather catcher is up first.

Ever-Ready Lather Catcher
Personna GEM SS PTFE

PSC Caffeinated After Shave

The Proraso Sandalwood Shave Soap lathered well with the Jayaruh #206 2-band Badger brush. Two passes and touch ups with the Ever-Ready Lather Catcher razor with a Personna GEM SS PTFE blade gave me a close, comfortable shave. After a cold water rinse I finished off with PSC Caffeinated After Shave. I am clean, smooth, and refreshed...

This Star was my first Lather Catcher a few years ago now. I thought then that it was pretty aggressive and harsh with a PTFE blade and while I was sorting through my razors I thought I'd give it another try to see if it still felt the same today, it does! Luckily I have picked up a few more since then many of which are truly excellent razors to use.
