I had a great shave this morning with The Gem Jr. Bar. What a truly spectacular razor. LaToja was face lathered with a Maggards synthetic. A 2nd use Gem SS PTFE provided perfect cutting performance. And Pinaud Clubman Lilac Vegetal lotion finished things off.

Two passes and touch ups with the Ever-Ready Lather Catcher razor with a Personna GEM SS PTFE blade gave me a close, comfortable shave. After a cold water rinse I finished off with Aqua Velva 5 in 1 ASB. I am clean, smooth, and refreshed...

And this is why it's called a lather catcher. This is after my first pass.

I had a quick but wonderful 1 pass cleanup with the Gem Junior Bar. This is a truly superb razor. I also broke open a new tub of Mer Shavings Orange Fougere donkey's milk soap. This soap has an intoxicating aroma. I will have to use this sparingly enough to make it last a long time. I believe he isn't going to make this one anymore. Luckily he makes plenty of other wonderful soaps.

Had a great shave today with the J.A. Henckels Rapide razor and a new Gem blade. Love this razor. I added some frost drops to the Arko. The lather was very frosty.
