The one I got is missing the plastic tab that cover the holes. I will make a post of it when I get.

So does the one above...
I have designed a 3D printable replacement but can't be bothered to print it - it would shave the same...
I have used my Fashion Razor for just under half the shaves of 2020. It's that good.

I might just use some tape with gold coloring to cover it. So it is that good of a razor? So how does it shave? Is it aggressive with a lot of blade feel or mild and efficient?

The top cap on mine seems flaky. Anyone know what metal is indeed the plating?

Can you post pictures? I am not sure what is the plating made from but I hope that it is made of brass. I have one coming soon and I can't wait to see how it shaves.

Edit: I am talking about the metal under the plaiting. I think there are services that can replate your razor. Might be worth looking into.

Here you go @bcshaver. It doesn't look like brass underneath to me.

Unfortunately I think it may be pot metal. But I'm not great with IDing metals.

I might be wrong but did't Jim make one out of wood. Maybe see if he can make you a replacement?

I believe he made the handle for one out of wood but maybe it was the cap. He is a very talented and crafty fellow.

He is indeed.

I'm toying with the idea of getting a 3D printed cap made from transparent resin. Should look good.
I'm no good with wood.
