I've been tooo busy with relocating.. You know, new house, car, new barber, new phone, Dr., lights for the pool, etc etc
One biggy... I checked out 3 different cities and found a brick & mortar that carries the German Old Spice!! I swear I think that's the closest to the original sauce I remember as a kid on my Pop. At least the olfactory response gives me chills, it's a time machine, I love it. Also found Clubman locally, that's a first.
BTW, Sir Jay, that Civil War Shaving Brush forgery with the Badger knot you made me is the best brush on the Planet for me. I hope it lasts for the rest of my life because I don't even want to shave onetime without it!!
My favorite razors since moving have been the ER Lather Catcher from Fuzzy, its sings louder and better than any razor I know; the Auto-Strop A1 from twhite for knocking down several days thick growth; and my regular day in and day out reach for is my Schick chrome I2 Hydrozilla @Karl G from across the street laid on me nos. Still in case with razor blank. He was saving it for a collectible but knew it was my Pop's favorite so he gave it to be. I immediately popped a blade in it and it gets 90% of my shaves since. It's that good!
I'll try to hang more often... My new phone is very simple... I mainly wanted something small for actually Making phone calls, ha ha, so this one can't resize photos or it doesn't support almost anything I used to use a phone for. So I got what I wanted... Becareful what you wish for lmao!
Great shaves for everyone!!.
Good to see you are back. Never heard of a German Old Spice. I have only tried the new stuff but I am a young whippersnapper as some on TOST3 would say. I have never seen Clubman local for me but might be that I am looking in the wrong place. Can we get a picture of that brush? I have wanted badger brush but have not been able to justify the price. I hve never tried a lather catcher but would like to some day. I have to say Schick injectors are the best razors (better than a GEM?). I just recently got an H1 and shaved with it yesterday and boy what a smooth shaver just have to be careful since it tricks you where you think it is mild but it is not. Hope to see you around here more often!

I was woken up last Friday during the day with the boss asking about a company that was allowed into the plant by the back gate. I stated at that time that I had not heard of that company. I had volunteered for a couple of night shifts while a night supervisor was out. Long story short I got to work that night and shortly there after the boss lady showed up and suspended me pending investigation. The investigation seems to have consisted of them taking to the guards at that gate. No one talked to me. Long story even shorter I am applying for other positions in the company as that client was asked that I be removed.
As I am very much on top of my game and have stopped several company's for entering that plant in the last weeks it is a bit of a kick in the gut to be dumped to the curb. i have not been on here alot but hope that things iron out soon.
Sorry to hear about this Fuzzy. Hopefully things work out for you.

Well thanks guys! Things are moving along. I had a video interview yesterday for a position. I am going in the morning to interview for a second. I am not turning down any interviews. I would prefer the first spot but both are good!!
@Bird Lives great to see you my friend. I hope things are starting well over there. The German Old Spice sounds nice. Is it just aftershave? Or do they make a soap?
Happy shaves to ya!

Good to see you are back. Never heard of a German Old Spice. I have only tried the new stuff but I am a young whippersnapper as some on TOST3 would say. Hope to see you around here more often! Just a heads up. No need to get caught up in the price game for a badger brush. The cheaper ones work just fine.
Happy shaves to ya!

I tell ya... This Badger I got from Sir Jay... This is the best I've e-vah felt.
So Jay.... TELL the folks what kinda knot this is. Inquiring minds want to know. And Sir Jay, could you post a Pic of this Civil War Badger brush. I've just cotton a request to post a Pic, but my new Turkish phone doesn't have a photo resized app yet. I should have those capabilities in the near future, but not this week! Lol.
Yo Fuzzy.. I don't know about the German Old Spice line. Here I've only seen the After Shave and that's not normal either. There's one store I've seen that carries it. I consider myself lucky to find that! Shavings not real popular around here. Everyone gets a barber shave once a week... Though now with the covid thing, some folks get a barber shave once a month. Beards are becoming the norm, though not at my house, lmao!!

It is 24mm at the base and 53mm loft.
