Post shave: Cold water Rinse, TC's infused Witch Hazel
Balm: Tonyschin's Cedarwood and Patchouli Aragn Oil and Balm
Aftershave: Signature soap Danum
A very rare outing for the Focus R48, i really like the look and design of the razor, however, i do not use it as recommended as putting pressure on the head just feels "Alien" to me, instead i find the angle where the blade cuts and use that angle, which is quite steep, does it work? Hell yeah!
I also use a loose lather as the head can struggle to clear the lather, especially if using as recommended.
I actually prefer the Razorock ECO shave wise.
A nice 2 pass shave and touch up on the whirlpools leaving smooth and clean and ready for the day ahead.
Anyway, i am out for my 2nd vaccine this afternoon, cannot wait to get it done.

Valet boar brush
Squadron Red Lead
Old Spice
This Valet brush is a pretty harsh old boar.
The soap seems to lack the slickness it used to have. Is that thing? Does soap loose it's slickness over time?
The Feather blade seemed not so sharp and pretty harsh on it's first use.
The razor with the closed comb is pretty mild and I found myself going over areas several times.
That said, I enjoyed the shave, it was a vintage SE shave after all
Feather spineless blades are garbage IMO.
Shave with a very shallow angle, just like a GEM, Ever~Ready, etc.
Vintage Williams stays slick forever, never used Valet. (never even seen one before)
Why do the posts stack up that way, how do I prevent that? Why do the posts stack up that way, how do I prevent that?
Boar brushes, brass razors, and hard pucks ARE traditional wet shaving. Everything else is modern day fluff for the girly men.

Cold Water Rinse
Vintage Life Licorice Shave Soap
Olivewood Silvertip
Gem Jr. Bar Lather Catcher
Personna GEM SS PTFE
CWR
PSC Caffeinated After Shave
The Vintage Life Licorice Shave Soap lathered well with the Olivewood Silvertip Brush. Two passes and touch ups with the Gem Jr. Bar Lather Catcher with a Personna GEM SS PTFE blade gave me a close, comfortable shave. After a cold water rinse I finished off with PSC Caffeinated After Shave Balm. I am clean, smooth, and refreshed...

Really nice shave. The goatee is gone for a little while. The MM did great with the White Star soap and horse brush. Very old guy smelly with the Lustray Spice. Perfect start to the night at work.

Ahh the focus plastic looking garbage razor. I never liked they tried to create a “ easier” system. Noting hard about shaving. Glad you use it like a razor and ignore the gadget part of it!!
