So a little update for all the comments about "the stops aren't uncomfortable for me". Perhaps I should have been clearer. I did NO file work when I used mine. After checking it the stops had sharp edges that were causing my discomfort (scratching) and after getting home from work I went over them quickly with some small files and will give it another try tomorrow now that the edges aren't razors themselves
