Do you think I should completely remove the patina or just keep it that deep black color? I usually lean towards no complete restorations. I like the Patina.
Of course some of it will come off with a Dawn spray down and cleaning.
Thats a tough one. The color on that is terrific. Very black as if it has not been touched for years. You have a decision for sure. I personally wouldn’t rush the decision. Once it is cleaned it is over. They also clean up really well with such dark silver-plate. Some would even shoe polish the case some.
I will probably do just enough to sanitize it. I like the black patina. SO what makes tis a rare model? I assumed it was a B variant of some sorts.
Unless you feel compelled to shave with it you might want to sit on a bit. There are shiny ones available. And, it is a rare variant Schlick after all!

That's a B1. It's the B3 that is rare. They shave well.
