A spectacular 2 pass shave today with this Vintage set up.
The 1950's British made Culmak Plus made in Woodbridge whipped up the ancient cream (confirmed by Cussons - end of production mid 1950) to a wonderful slick lather, it still has a nice clean scent.
1st time i have tried the GEM Blade in the razor instead of the original wedge, what a shave, obviously lots of Blade feel although not at all scary.
The 1st pass WTG left me with a DFS finish then i completed an always pass taking me to DFS+, nothing else needed.
I did get a little indication from my Bay Rum splash, although all had settled by the time the Vintage 4711 went on, the Barts lime a perfect match for this EDC which seems to have a higher alcohol content than the new stuff.
Feeling real good with a massive smile on my clean chops while i write this.
Stay safe and enjoy your day All.
