A wonderful Saturday shave.
The CR Salter really is on its last legs, i may have 4 or 5 shaves left in it.
I completed an easy bowl lather in the Captains choice with the Simpson Chubby synth, a quick face rinse with some warm water and a nice, slick face covering.
I started the WTG pass with the unmentionable and it seemed something just clicked, the angle seemed to smooth the shave experience right out, it was a little steeper than i have been using with the spine just a little closer to the face, the razor seemed to go from cutting with me the nervous driver to cutting easily and my confidence rising massively, i continued with this angle for the full pass, no issues around the chin area - boom, SAS finish on 1 pass, i lathered up again and completed another WTG pass with some slight changes going ATG on my necks Devils whirlpools and XTG on the top lip, - wonderfully easy. DFS finish.
Now then i could have stopped there, however, the ECO was on the shelf feeling unloved so i lathered up and completed an ATG Buffing pass to leave me BBS and very comfortable.
Finishing of with a splash of cold water and pat down, then the Barts Balm lotion, letting that sink in while i cleaned the razor. A dollop of matching balm and a rub of Old Spice. Get In!
I think that was my best shave so far, The finish from the unmentionable's 2 passes was easily an acceptable finish for any occasion, My confidence has grown massively and things seem to be becoming more natural.
Happy, happy, happy!
Stay safe and enjoy your weekend All
