How exactly can any website by itself be made ADA compliant?

There are settings on the computer to enlarge the print, and ways to have a syn' voice read text (Balabolka is a free one that I know of), but those are on the part of the user.

OK, if anyone shows up and needs a hand getting up the stairs I'll help them since we don't have a ramp. But they'd need to hold my ADA virtual cane.  Yeah, clearly I'm missing something.

Choice of Colors (1 in 12 men are colorblind). Color contrast. Relative font size. Make the site actually readable by screen reader software (harder than you think). Animation or movement can make some people sick or cause seizures. The web-site should be usable without a mouse (just by keyboard) for people with limited hand control (again, harder than you think - try it here and now. I can't post this without using a mouse), etc, etc...
It's a minefield (and part of my job).
Since only surgery saved my eyesight a few years ago I have a better understanding. Shit websites are not fun if you have an impairment. And you're not getting any younger.
I will not however understand lawyer leaches trying to squeeze money out of small websites.

Limited here by the forum software I think. Again not my speciality.
