A day at the dermatologist

Glad you caught it when you did and got it taken care of! No fun, but it could have been much less fun if left alone.

Talking to a friend of ours today she mentioned that she has a spot under her eye that needs to be removed (cancer). She was concerned about a scar but a Dr is flying in who does plastic surgery to minimize issues. She was concerned, so I explained to her that they'll take a piece of skin from her armpit to put in place... She'll only need to walk around with the arm raised in the air for a few weeks waiting for the pit to heal, and she'll need to shave under her eye periodically, but no scar. That lightened the mood a bit. And I've been called much worse.
