Thanks Greg, I'll give that a try next week by aggressively shaking out the brush. I know you've been working hard on improving your use of boar brushes.
Even when I was bowl lathering the modern Williams, I found no matter what I did the lather always started out airy/bubbly and would settle down and smooth out only after a good bit of agitation. It was the same today, but a little more difficult to beat the airiness out of it when it is on my face, at least more difficult for me!
Ha. If you don't end up with a bloody nose or black eye you're not beating the lather aggressively enough.
