When you said before that you manufactured Schick handles, is that one of them? She's a beaut! That's a monster knot. Do the SHD badger knots suck up a lot of lather? Pretty good for face lathering I suppose. I think Dave in KY used a knot that large a couple of his videos back and I thought man, won't take long to lather the face with a brush that large!
Don't mind Dave in KY, you know he's got a thing with those baton handles!![]()

A successful three pass shave. Giving some love to the Fat, as there was some good natured poo-pooing posted earlier!
Yes I made this Schick G handle as well as the brush handle. The SHD is wonderful. It holds a lot of lather too. I can load it then face lather (neck lather actually) and have more than enough for 3 passes. Even when I shaved my head there was more than enough lather for multiple passes. I don't bowl lather much at all anymore. I have a very heavy vintage mug that I pre-soak the brush in in hot water. Then I load the brush empty the mug and put the brush in the mugs between passes. The mug holds heat really well and I use it kind of like a brush scuttle.
That looks like a squat head Ever-Ready. Or is it just the angle of the picture?
Just the regular sized ER. Not sure what that style handle is called officially, but I really like the Art Deco styling. Really heavy and easy to grip...plus easy on the eyes!
They're sure are a number of skilled craftsmen/artists on this forum. You've got quite the talent to support this hobby!
