I want to thank both GAW9576 and TobyC for providing me guidance on adjusting the rear spring on the ER 1914 so that the blade would align correctly. I was good to go today!
Had a very enjoyable 2.5 pass shave. Despite trying to earn some irritation by over-shaving, I got away with it today! As I get better with the easy parts of the shave, I keep trying to improve upon my trouble spots. Added a bit of ATG to my mustache area.
It's too early to tell, but the ER 1914 is giving the Damaskeene a run for its money as my favorite razor.
BTW...if anyone uses witch hazel and lives near a Publix, they have T.N. Dickinson's on sale from $3.99 to $2.99. It has a bit of a strong smell that takes a minute to get used to, but I might prefer it to Thayers for how it makes my skin feel.
