Williams Mug Shaving Soap Discontinued
#21
I grabbed 4 at my local place. I might go back in a couple days. They regularly stock it so I figured I'll let other shave a chance at some. .99 cents a puck. (I should add, I didn't clean them out. They had 10 pucks and I took 4). This particular store is the only one in the area that has Williams, so I know there must be a few people asking them to stock it. It's a relatively small grocery chain.

There was a soap maker at TSD one time that tried making a soap using the Williams ingredient list. She disappeared though so not sure how it was. Walter’s soap I think she called it.

I have a modest collection of vintage and modern Williams to last me a few years of Williams Wednesdays and some more. Did anyone notice that the modern Williams is sold more premium on ebay compare to vintage Williams ?

I did recently pick up some pucks of vintage.  Given the crazy prices for modern, I don't see why I wouldn't get vintage.

Mikey McLelland, Ole Fashion Shaver, just started making videos. On his first he lamented that he just opened his last Williams Mug Soap.

So I have been gone for a while and wanted to pick up some Williams Mug soap on ebay. Looked at the price and I think I will go with something else. To bad I really liked the soap.
