Fuzzy, you're right, last few weeks the third wave caught India, however there was quite a few left media operators who are opposing government moves to open up the market economy who selectively highlighted issues in iternational media to emabarass the various government agencies.

However it is subsided substantially now. Its a huge country and vaccinations will take time.

My hobby needs  me to align with a package forwarder services. I ask them to receive all store all my purchases at the NY address and ship it out once a month or thereabouts thereby reducing my costs of shipping to India substantially and also working out with customs for "use tonsorial equipment" in bulk.

The package forwarder company is owned by a person I know and makes my life much simpler, though have to keep patience for my goodies to finally land at my door. 

It has worked for me very well since 2014 when I first used the service.
