Hey "Tost3ians"
I realise that there is a 500 kb upload limit for images and my phone camera makes a minimum 1.5 mb image size. I signed up to myBB image hosting and after uploading the images there, I tried to add them as link using the "image" icon on the editor tool bar.
No luck- turns up as image=(some number)
Any idea how to go about doing this. Reducing image size seems a chore. How do you'll manage to upload those fantastic sharp images?
Any tips appreciated

Any tips appreciated I use the Image Size app to make them below the 500Kb limit. When I go through adding an image, I use the attachment box at the bottom of the page, choose the file, add attachment...then you can either just post and the image is added or you can insert it into the post.

I don't know if you have access to it with a phone, but postimage.com automatically resizes images to whatever size you tell it to as you upload to the site. Linking to the pix is dead easy.

Which app do you use? I've been using one called photo compress, but it's kind of a pain.
The only problem with sites like post image is most if not all eventually stop hosting ( I believe that's the proper term ) the image and you get a forum full of dead images in the future.

The app is named Image Size. It also has the capability for some editing, but I rarely use it and am not real sure of the quality.

My Iphone Allows me to size the image before I load it to the forum here. I have not been using the computer to load any images so far. With TOST2 I used postimage a lot. As stated above the draw back is when they pull a photo bucket type thing and you lose all those links.
Happy shaves to ya!

Apparently my Samsung phone gallery image also has this resize capability.?
I've started used IMGBB website to post links, but agree it has its downfalls and the links are a risk if they change their charge model. There's no free beer in business!

Screenshot your pics and upload from your phone, quick and simple.
I use postimage. It works well.

For reference in case it helps, open the image in the Samsung gallery, tap the pencil icon to edit, tap the three dots in the very upper right hand corner, tap resize. The resize options only list percents and not final file size so you might want to check the “details” to retrieve the original size to calculate. Details can be found to the far right of the same row of icons where the edit pencil is, again tap the three dots then tap details.
Good luck!
