Amazing!
The oldest razor I have used and a fantastic shave. I always thought the the stops on the old lather catchers were too close to the front of the guard so once you can adjust that, and the blade gap with the hinged gaurd, on this older razor things really come good. Smooth, comfortable and close. The oldest razor and the best shave.
When I reknotted  this brush, since it was in two parts, I put an Australian 20 cent coin in the middle, if you look closely you can see a platypus (ok you have to look very closely and know what your looking for)

Very cool. I like the coin.
Thanks, great technology on this old razor, not quite Space X (did you watch that!) but so much better than a modern razor.

I guess I should poke my head out from under the rock I'm living under more often. I didn't hear anything about the launch till today. And I've heard VERY little at that.

COLD WATER SHAVE

Brush: Simpson Chubby 2
Soap: CR Salter Indian Sandalwood
Razor: Blackland Sabre
Blade: GEM PTFE S/S (6)
Post shave: Cold water splash, Witch Hazel
Balm: Bart's Balm Rosemary and Sandalwood Balm & Lotion
Aftershave: Old spice Original

https://i.postimg.cc/RhJ0v8rr/Wk-23-2.jpg

I decided to try a cold water shave today, my 1st attempt i did not enjoy so much, as i did not get a close finish.
My technique must have improved since then as i really enjoyed that, i completed a face lather which worked really well, i just dampened the face and worked up a nice lather. The CH2 synth holding enough for the shave.
I did notice that the Audio feedback was a bit louder and the Sabre just did its job, with remarkable, comfortable efficiency.
2 passes, WTG and a Mixed pass leaving me BBS, a cold splash, rub of witch hazel and the post shave skin feel is very very nice.
Finishing off the post shave with the Barts Balm lotion and balm then a splash of Old Spice.
I am smooth, comfortable and smelling good.
Stay Safe and enjoy your day All

PS Its back to basics again, will not allow me to add picture as that option does not come up.

First shave with the new (to me) Schick Type L razor. Primary impression is a good one, with the razor providing a very mild but efficient shave. The razor felt slightly tuggy at times, so it could be a dud new blade or will work better with a slicker soap.

I'm a fan of the Original Skin Bracer, wife likes it on me too!

Me Too!! Skin Bracer presses all the right olfactory buttons for me! Takes me right back...to maybe a few more decades ago than I'd like to admit! }8^))
