Hi everyone. I’ve been WSing for quite a long time and have the scars to prove it. I have a rather large collection of shaving equipment, probably too large, and like to rotate it. I think shaving has a fascinating history and would like to explore it further. This is why I joined this group. I think interacting with like minded people is the key to some interesting outcomes. Thanks for approving my membership.  My first razor back in high school was a single edge cartridge razor, the Wilkinson Bonded.  A couple of years later I could not find replacement carts, so I bought a Schick injector razor and I still have that same L1 to this day.  I now own many Schick variants from A through O.  I also collect ASR razors, mostly Gem and Ever-Ready models.   And there are a few lather catchers in the cabinet.   I also collect unmentionable razors, but we won't go there!

I was at college when the Wilkinson Sword single edge bonded razor came out. I got one, and had not gone through all of the blades until I cut myself deeply on my left side. The blade in the cartridge was cocked, and it just took a big chunk out of my face. I got rid of that contraption and went back to my Schick.
