Lather Catcher Sunday's Shave
[Image: zcws.jpg]

Cold Water Rinse
Mitchell's Wool Fat Shave Soap
Tom's B-3 Badger Brush
J.A. Henckels Rapide
Henckels Wedge
CWR
Pinaud Clubman Classic Vanilla AS

The Mitchell's Wool Fat Shave Soap lathered well with Tom's B-3 Badger Brush. Two passes and touch ups with the J.A. Henckels Rapide Razor with a Henckels Wedge Blade gave me a close, comfortable shave. After a cold water rinse I finished off with Pinaud Clubman Classic Vanilla AS. I am clean, smooth, and refreshed...

I almost bought a Henckels the other day, how well do they work with a GEM blade, the stops seem kinda small.
Boar brushes, brass razors, and hard pucks ARE traditional wet shaving. Everything else is modern day fluff for the girly men.

They catch the blade no problem as long as they aren't worn down. The Rapide is one heck of a razor. I don't use a wedge adapter in mine but one can be used.

Modern SE blade work fine, but I like using the Henckels wedge. twhite sharpened mine, and I have been able to keep it sharp by stropping.

Thank you. The one I was looking at didn't have any blades with it, and I would probably only use the GEMs anyway, I'll know next time! ?
