Seems to me that if you very carefully bent this part of the clip back a little bit it would let the part that engages the blade go forward enough to be snug.

Tried it, but it didn't work. The razor head on this one is all one piece and is made of a thicker material than most of the lather catchers.
Thanks for the thought, though.

I recently picked a Hero and had the same issue, but was able to remedy it. I see you posted nearly a year ago, were you able to adjust it? The razors are pretty robust, I was able to use a jewelers smooth jawed pliers to squeeze the side clips slightly down to grip the blade better from the sides, and for the back clip, I pushed the clip as far up as possible, then used a long reach jewelers pliers to hold the clip from underneath, just in front of the rivet, and then used a small flat bladed screw driver placed (coming in from the top) behind the clip and was able to gently finesse it forward to give it just enough forward to place positive pressure against the blade spine to hold it in place while shaving. The adjusted side clips combined with he adjusted back clip works well now. I used the pliers in front of the rivet to keep the rivet connection tight versus just prying the clip from the back which would have weakened it. I can post photos if needed. Good luck

Sorry, I've been absent for a bit. I'm afraid that I'm not much of a mechanic, so I can't compare to the ingenuity of Lord NSIC... VERY cool post and creativity of the fix he describes. I bent the little clip in the back as far as I dared so that I wouldn't break it, and then found that if I just put duct tape on the back clip of the SE blade, it worked perfectly. Not the prettiest fix but it's a solid razor and gave very good shaves. I'll probably put it up for sale or trade here when I get time to take pics. Again, sorry for being so slow. Have a great day!
