Very entertaining.  I have that EverReady kit in my collection.  That carbon blade might have been a little rough.  LOL
I was hoping he would use that rope brush.

It was entertaining for sure. I was hoping he would use the rope brush too! Actually it might work somewhat, but I imagine the scritchy factor would be up there. First time I have ever seen one. (The hardware store might not appreciate it, but I feel like buying a bunch of 1 foot pieces of different rope and playing around.)

And I have never seen someone use shave water with such abandon! He must have been kinda drippy afterwards!

If you've ever handles hemp rope you know how itchy it can be.  And that ER 1924 Shovelhead will hold water.  It's just a by product of it's design being a closed head.  If he'd actually made a lather using a brush he probably would not have dripped that much water.  LOL

Fun video. An abuse of that fine Colgate soap though......

Yea that is not the best of the razors.

I wanted to see him make lather with that home made rope brush. The 1924 shovel head razor is a good shaver, but yes, the design makes it want to hold water. I have learned that after rinsing in water you should shake out the water from the head or you will get it all down the front of you. Entertaining video though.
