Vintage pipes. - Wchnu - 02-25-2024

I am curious as to thoughts on vintage pipes. It does not freak me out to buy and use a pipe that someone smoked before. I clean them good and keep on.  This meerschaum is an example. It was obviously  favorite of someone in the past. It is going to be among my favorites.

Agree comletely - they did the work breaking in the bowl.  You reap the benefits.  That sure is a pretty pipe and just the right size.  A lot or Meerschaum is way too big or fancy.  I was a premium cigar smoker for years until I gave up the beautiful brown leaf.  Fuente 858 was one of my favorites.

I don't smoke anymore, but when I did, back in the last millenium, I did buy used pipes. I miss my pipes.

I can't find pictures right now but I used to have a cool meersham pipe. Here is a church warden I really liked.

I also had a Ben Wade very similar to this one. I really miss that pipe.
