Williams powder - Wchnu - 06-20-2021
Thanks to a Member across the street I was able to get my hands on this tin of Williams Shaving Powder.
Like all the vintage soap I have there is no scent other then just generic soap. It was sold to be 3/4 full. I think it is over that. Now I have to figure out how much it takes for a shave!

Pretty cool. I like the container. Does the small part on the top unscrew and have holes to shake a little out? Wonder what it does to blade life?

Yes. You turn it to unmask a hole. It should turn into lather so no worse for the blade then any other I think.

Mine smells like soap as well, maybe scent didn't age well or no scent added the mfg. process. With a damp face, I'm sure it would lather very well also.

Haha. My mistake. I was thinking a dry powder for dry shave. I've never seen a powdered soap for shaving.
